What surfboard size do I get for my height?

Im 6'1, 160 lbs. What is the right size of a regular surfboard and a long board I should get? (Im completely new to surfing)

1. whell get a 5'6 foot board and see if it is good.
2. get a board 3-4 inches taller than you..not sure of pounds to kilograms is but if you are like my mate 6 foot and 75kg,he rides a 6"4' tall,19' wide and 2 3/8' thick...im 5"6' and 60kg and i ride a 6"2' tall,18 1/2' wide,2 3/8' thick and we swap each others boards while out surfing..so if you go for something like my mates you should have some fun...good luck from australia mate
