information about surfing?
I am doing a presentation about surfing, and I know nothing about surfing. So if anybody could tell me what the most imporatant things about surfing are, or a good website that tells about surfing, it would be alot of help. Thanks!

- Check out: the Surfology section of Surfline.com, the encyclopedia of surfing and rent Step Into Liquid. It is difficult for a surfer to explain what is important about surfing to someone who doesn't do it without sounding slightly wacko. For me the most important thing is the difference in my state of mind after a surf verus before surf. Hard to quantify or adeqately explain other than to say that I just feel better.
- It is a lifestyle. Rent the endless Summer I, II, and revisited. It is also a territorial sport and is almost like ganglife.
